Thanks for the warm welcome.... I have had a SuperDuty for a while and have been a lurker I guess... But just picked up this Excursion and am just browsing looking for advice and information.

Thanks for the warm welcome again.... I actually have the Superduty and have recently picked up an Excursion. Planning on doing the 2010 front end on it when I return home and was gonna go up on 37's but seems I am buying a bigger trailer than I had planned and want it to move. So I am just gonna do a 4 inch lift and 35's with some 20's.

Your truck looks great but I am a v10 gas and afraid with 37s it won't be able to pull the 28 foot enclosed trailer with my car in it.... Should probably do gears with just the 37s much less trying to haul the trailer down the interstate.

I have no clue what gears in the Excursion I have never seen it in person much less driving it. Though I a really looking forward to it. I purchased it since being overseas and my father picked it up for me. How would I be able to find out what gears are in it? Thanks

The door tag will give you the axle tag.
Ford Excursion Axle Codes:
3.73 = 31 Open Diff / C1 --- Limited Slip
4.10 = 32 Open Diff / C2 --- Limited Slip
4.30 = 33 Open Diff / C3 --- Limited Slip
