I recently put new front shocks (Monroe Reflex) and all new tires on the pickup. I noticed today that the passenger front tire is leaning this way a little -----> /
Will a four wheel alignment fix this? I figured that it was due for an alignment since I put the new tires on anyway. Is there anything I should look for before/after an alignment is done to save me some trouble.
If your TTB setup is the same as my dad's '87 F250 and my two, then an alignment shop won't likely include the cost of camber adjustment in the regular cost of an alignment. The camber is usually adjusted using bushings on the ball joints, which require partially disassembly of the front end to change. You can certainly have the alignment shop measure the camber and see if it's out of spec. At that point, if they don't include camber adjustment automatically, then you can find out how much they charge, how far out of spec it is, and decide if you want to tackle it yourself.
As for what to do before going in. I'd give the front suspension and steering components a good looking over. Make sure the ball joints, and tie rod ends are good, as well as the sway bar bushings and end links, and the radius arm bushings (if the F150 setup has radius arms.). It doesn't do much good to get an alignment if front end parts are not in good mechanical condition.
