I was great with it until a friend popped off about it being Dallas Cowboy colors - ACK! And I'm a Texans fan! Totally didn't think of it that way when I bought it, but now.... Oh well, whatcha gonna do?

I really thought about a DRW but I decide not too. They pull real steady, Nice trucks guys
If I behave myself and drive the speed limit, , I can get 18 - 19 on the Interstate doing 75-78.

Around town I will run 12.5 - 14.

Pulling my 5er, at 75 - 78 mph on the Interstate, I get around 8.

Speed x wind drag + total weight = it is what it is.

Wish it was better, but, I just can't make myself slow down.

I got your back if you got mine.

Sorry had to run off, my 78 year old mother broke her wrist and I went to the hospital with her. Couple of pins and a steel plate later and I now have a house guest for a few days/weeks.

Bummer on your Mom. Did they put on a cast or strap it?

Thats respectable fuel milage for a drw.

I see some have installed the larger fuel tanks so I guess I will be gauging that -- pun intended.

Thanks and hope your Mom gets better. Did she slip and fall or----

Thanks for your concern. Pins and an external plate/rod for now. All wrapped up, goes back in two weeks for cast. She was getting into a pickup and lost her footing/balance and fell breaking her wrist. Not my pickup BTW.

I have seen as high as 20.4 mpg on the Interstate, empty of course.

Oh yeah I forgot to mention.

I picked it up on Thursday

Took a short 160 mile trip Friday

Spent most of the day -today piddling with it. Under it and all through it to get familar with components and locations. That T-case is much smaller than I am use to.

Is there a recommended break in period?

Here's a recent one of mine. Hauling home a 1968 Imperial for demolition derbying.

Fishing with our wheelers loaded on the back.

Pulling 10,500 of camper and around 1,950 in/on the box.
