This web site is the BEST any and every problem I.ve had some one has helped me though it saving good lord knows how much money Thanks again!!!!!!
But here's a problem I bet a lot of people have. I have to park my truck on the grass for weeks at a time maybe drive it on the week-ends. Under my truck is a rust farm, my drive shaft has deep pits in it, my carrier bearing has to be replace as the rubber is all cracked and falling off, already replace my radus arm bushings the back brake lines (replaced) my power steering tubes are all rusted up. The question I guess I'm asking is what can I spray, brush on the under side to STOP THE RUST. My body has no rust on it
Primary rig is Green Thunder:
95' F-150 XLT 4x4, 302, 5 spd, MSD 6A, Flowmaster Exhaust, Sunroof, Clear corners w/ Diamond headlights, CD player with 2 10" subs and some 32" BFG Muds .
Thats it for now, saving for a stang. Check out my Gallery for a look-see.
Have not heard of the Hirschauto miracle paint so I checked the website and seems to be a lot like my suggestion. Por-15 this stuff is awesome. Try which ever you want they are both probably very similar. And on the rubber parts/bushings try to keep them covered in armor all or lithium grease. Keeps the rubber fresh and the moisture out.
TREMCLAD RUST PAINT
BRUSH THE HEAVY RUST OFF SPRAY CLEAN WITH AIR AND BRUSH OR SPRAY SOME TREMCLAD RUST PAINT ON IT
COMES IN MANY DIFFERENT COLOURS AND IT STOPS THE RUST FROM COMMIGN BACK
did mine 2 years ago and it still looks as good as the day i did it
That miracle paint sounds great. I have a friend with an 85 chevy truck, he is worried about it rusting and rotting away. It was a showtruck with an Lt-1 vette engine. Since he bought it,undercoating and rustproofing has become his main focus. You can learn alot of good stuff on this site. THX.
