Tranny swap
OK,
This is what I have. 1) 82 F150 302, AOD. 2) 83 F150 Extended cab F150 351W, C4 (three speed).
I want to take the AOD off the 82 and put behind the 351W and vice versa. I've decided to give the 82 to a missionary guy in Mexico, but there is no need to just get rid of the AOD tranny.
Nothing is wrong with either tranny. I would just rather keep the 83 with the 351w and would like to have an AOD pushing it.
Is it possible without major modifications or anything like that?
Any help is appreciated...
By the way...I plan to take the carb off the 82 and put it on the 351w along with the AOD. The VV72000 carb on the 83 is Mexico bound.....
