Carburetor Question
I have a 1970 F-100 with a 302. It has headers, a mild cam and will get an Edelbrock dual-plane performer intake with the carb. Right now I am looking at a Holley 600 cfm but I have been told this might be too much carb. I know by the 'cfm equation' it says 480. However looking at a carb around that size is about an extra $100+. As such I wonder of the 600 will work or can be made to work. I am in no way an expert in fuel delivery so I'm sure someone has more knowledge and/or experience than I and any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Yeah, definitely vacuum secondaries, I want a little more power but it is still a street car so I'd rather not massacre my gas mileage completely. Thanks for the help, that's actually what I was hoping for is people who have run these size carbs on their motors.
