should have saved your money if you were expecting more mileage and performance....
i have a cheap $60 ebay one on my truck and did nothing for the performance or mileage but i like the sound of them (can hear the intake now) thats whe only reason i got it.

I use the K&N on my 92 F150. I like the power gain and the sound. The truck has always been a gas guzzler do to the design. I want to put a Mass Air conversion kit on my truck to help with gas mileage and swap out the 302 with a 351 for more power gains....Other then that I recommend the K&N filter kit. I have had the kit on my truck for nearly 10 years and still looks new when I use the recharger kit to clean the filter. It has a life time warranty also if that helps on your decision.

I want the Ram-Air hood and Kit for my truck. I like the looks of it.

Good luck to ya!

I'm using the stock air box with the 300/460 tube and a Motorcraft filter. This setup works the best. I've had regular KN replacement filters and their open element hot air intakes. All I can say is I'm done with wasting money on that junk. If I ever was to get a so called performance air filter again, it would be a non oiled type.

I like the idea of the ram air hood too, but apparently alot of Lightning owners say its restrictive.
