Would like some help decoding the vin on this truck to find out what it really is. You're not gonna find any sort of (accurate) online decoders for pre-1981 vehicles, it wasn't until 1981 when this was standardized across the auto industry. Prior to that, each manufacturer did as they pleased.
For your 1980 Ford:
F10 = Series Code = 1980/83 F100 2WD pickup
E = Engine Code = 1980/82 = 300 cid gasoline-powered 6-banger; 1985/87 = 140 cid 4-banger Mitsubishi turbo diesel
N = Assembly Plant = Norfolk
HG9348 = Numerical sequence of assembly

Thanks for the help and the Info. Finally Pulled this truck out of the Garage where it had been sitting for 4 years finally got it up and running needed a few things but Started right up after a bit of gas.
