I found a dually in the junk yard that is an old tanker 4x4 truck. It has the D60 front end that looks like it has been converted over to hydralic steering of some sort. Its an 87 superduty with a 7.3L and 4.10 gears. I have an 86 that id like to use it in. Is there a way to convert this to work on the 86 F250 SRW?
Should just need to turn down the spacers. I asked myself this question a while back and found a guy local that did it on his truck, don't know the details because I found a SRW.

Superduty as in F-superduty? 10 lug rims?
If so you can just remove the Dually hub/adapter and put on one from a single wheel dana 50 TTB or Single wheel dana 60. It is that simple
Yes, f- superduty. That will be nice! Can pick up a ball joint D60 with 4.10 gears for 270. Now just need to figure out what to do with the rear that has 3.55s in it. Just a mud truck, will see no pavement. I'd like to do a locker in the rear and an ls or some sort for the front with 5.13 gears. That way I can sling some mud with these 38s and stock 351w...
BUT the superduty was never offered as a 4X4, so that axle was swapped in there by someone else.
so it may not be a 87 axle, and it may not be a kingpin axle.
