ECT/EOT temps while towing...Should I be concerned?

For those interested in ect/eot.
Prior to my receiving a new 3yr/unlimited mileage new longblock from my ford dealer I saw a peak of 194 ect 274 eot with no check engine light, no coolant smell, light oil smell, and the truck kept right on pulling. My truck pulled for several hundred miles with 192 ect and 265-267 eot with no internal damage, no melted parts, etc.
Fords tech support hotline that my dealer mechanic called said no damage until 275-300 eot.
My truck suffered from a flaking of the coolant passages (dime sized wafers of block) that clogged oil coolers and heater cores over and over.
