1977 Front Bumper
My restoration truck has impact strips on the front bumper. Anyone know if the front bumper for 77's could be ordered with the impact strips?

I have the same and I have been looking with no luck, I will keep you in mind if I find them.

They're not available in the aftermarket, unlike the vertical impact strips on the bumper guards.
The 73-77 horizontal strips are different than the 78-79 horizontal strips, they changed shape along with the contour of the bumper in 78/79.

Here is a picture of mine, fortunately for me, mine are in decent shape. However, I am always on the look out for another set, but no luck yet. I guess the price to reproduce them, and to a limited number users is why we are not seeing any in production. However, good luck in your search.

thanks guys. I have a set of impact strips however the bumper is real tough shape. I've been working on my frame off for 7 years now, making sure everything is original. The only exception is the exhaust which is 2.5" polish stainless duals.
If the bumper was an option originally I'll replace it with one that takes the impact stripes.
Where these bumpers only available on the Explorer package?
