You are a twit simon fair dinkum,i dont know whether your bosses bash that stupidty into your head and its just you .. .

Gina rinehart i cant stand, but hey she's the one that owns the company, its her money, wonder what you would say if your boss come up to you and said:from now on simon you have too hand over 30% of your pay too the poor,i wonder what your reaction would be..

Maybe we should just introduce communism, that way it will make it all fair.

And you can bet the sleazy labour party will chuck more money into the hands of average brain dead, short memory, union loving,i spend all me money on smokes and the pub moron out there, and then preference votes from your tree hugging CT loving fairey's down the back frolocking around in the garden will get her over the line, and then we get live in a country that running 60% of its potentional.

Get rid of preference votes than see how ya mates go.

Oh and i am of the mad monk and some of he's co horts,if we had a good oppostion i wouldnt have a worry and would definately be setting up my new business.

Bryan, I hope you can research your transport business a bit more than your over-simplified economic analysis above.

You don't seem to get that these taxes are all about stimulating the economy, to actually get it to start doing something new. It's nothing to do with communism or socialism or any other ism. It's in the constitution that the mineral wealth of Australia is owned by the people. So when they dig it up and sell it they are selling the property of the people. If the people get 30% of what it's sold for then it would seem a fair deal that the miners get the other 70%.

But now that 30% ends up getting spent in the Australian economy.

I don't give a FF where an idea comes from. But I can work out pretty quickly if there is some merit to it. Can you come up with a better idea to do that ATM? Cause I ain't hearing any alternatives from anywhere, including you.

Credit to you though, you have managed to work out that the country is running at 60% potential.

By the sound of you, instead of selling your Ftruck, you could raise some cash writing the mad monk's speeches. I think you got the style and in-depth content about right.

LEFTIES

Now now fellas .
Ah what the hell, if this is what we can expect on the next RiffRaff GTG .... bring it on.

Well I've used these as an add on to signature for a long time now.

"Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy, with its inherent virtue being the equal sharing of misery."<O</O

Read Socialist, Labor, Democrat.
Look at state of Europe's Socialist governments and who has to bale them out.
Look at US level of debt under Democrat, not to mention the sorry lot we've ended up with.

Discription of all of the above:

Ineptocracy <O</O
(in-ep-toc'-ra-cy) - a system of government where the least capable to lead are elected by the least capable of producing, and where the members of society least likely to sustain themselves or succeed, are rewarded with goods and services paid for by the confiscated wealth of a diminishing number of producers.<O</O

Successive Labour Governments in my view show a traditional "benign neglect" towards 'us diminishing number of producers'.

Preference voting adds the following doctrine of the Air Cheek kissing, latte sipping, tree hudding, the world is nigh alarmists into the sorry mess:

“Political correctness is a doctrine fostered by and illogical and irrational minority, who hold forth the proposition that it, is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end”
<O</O
<OIf you have ever read the book GOODBYE BABYLON: Further Journeys in Time and Politics
By Bob Ellis (a left wing labor journalist). </O
<O</O<OThere is a section in there concerning the Hard Left wing journalist Bill Leak and Paul Keating.</O
<OPaul Keating actually wrote into one of his speaches; which was of course written out by his minders. IIRC; it went something like this:</O
<OLeftists eat their own ****, and Bill Leak is shoveling it in with both hands.</O
<O</O

What's in a name? They change their stripes quick enough if it suits them.

Say one thing, do something else, over and over, all while the 24hr news circus reports so much on the sideshows we can't see the main event.

In the US the side that caused the biggest wealth strip of public money in history to bail out the under regulated private banks that caused the GFC was who?

Over here the party that is espousing tight fiscal management and the 'free market' to get the (non-mining) economy fired up again is who? 10 years ago it would have been John Howard, but now it's ???.

It's like the best golfer being black, and the best rapper being white, etc

The next RiffRaff visit looks as though it will be in November. Well luck would have it again, I'm back at sea then.
I fly out to join the ship on October 16 and don't get back home until November 30.

NATURE OF THE BEAST

G'day Brian,
Apreciate the though mate. But like last time, there is no point in considering my situation in any planning (goes the same at home).
The October - November period will only come off if the optional 30 day extension to the current offshore contract comes off (at this point it looks likely it will). If it doesn't, well I could be anywhere else on the planet on a differnent hitch or be home and able to show up .
Nature of the beast mate.

Cheers,
Reg

Brian, you're the mod. Can we delete the off-topic posts?
Maybe from now on nip it in the bud and delete any off-topic posts in any thread, e.g. The 'common mods' thread also got off-topic.

I'll drop by for a few hours and put in that DP tuner and 38R that Clay will have stuffed in his hand luggage
The 4" exhaust would have arrived by sea freight and be fitted by then.

BTW, Clay, the offer of you using my truck is on the table if you and Kristen want to take a few days to a week out to make a tour to see some of the country side. Suggest something like a trip south through Kangaroo Valley, Bowral, Jervis Bay then follow the coast back to Bryan's or something like that. November is a good time. Warm, but NOT school holidays so not too busy for traffic/accom. You'll need to spend longer than 4 days over here this time though.
