Nice pictures Gerry. Those years of Broncos were awesome. An old friend of mine bought a 79 Bronco new. We took that into places it was comfortable to drive & ride in. I love those Broncos.

Got to work on my new truck today. Got the tired 400 pulled. Going to drop in a rebuilt 351m tomorrow. Can't wait to drive it!

 

Fueled up the X today and took the family to WetnWild water park, it was 50 miles one way. According to the Lie o meter it was getting 11.5 mpg... I was like um, no way. Drove there and the meter said it had 350 miles to empty, but the gauge had not moved from full at all... I reset the meter while running down the freeway on the way home and it was getting 16 at 75-80 mph. It said it had 300 miles to empty as I got off the freeway, I was like what the heck is wrong with this thing.... I shut it off and started it again. lo and behold it said 450 miles to empty now. I guess I will just run off the gauge now... and switch the lie o meter over to temperature and leave it. Just over 100 miles and the gauge barely moved. I hope once all the exhaust leaks are fixed it gets even better mpg, that is the hope anyway.
Oh and WnW is a blast. My 6 year old is just tall enough to go on all the rides. We were running and still didn't get to do them all. I am tired now...

Good Evening Everyone. I have a new slogan for Direct TV. The CAN'T DO Company. We are up in Lee Vining CA as you guys know. There are 4 RV spaces in this mobile home park. The other 3 have summer visitors, we are the only winter visitors. Two of the other RVs have Direct TV. So we decided to get TV again. The wife thinks we might like it during the long cold nights up here. So we ordered Direct because of the FREE NFL offer so I could watch my Cardinals. Well the guy shows up today, But we don't have TV. He stood there telling me my neighbors don't have TV. (I guess the dishes that say Direct TV are just yard ornaments.) That he needs a 100% signal to hook me up. He CAN'T get a waiver, he CAN'T HOOK us UP, CAN'T do anything, CAN"T have TV. Everything was what COULDN'T BE DONE. So I ran him off. The wife called Dish again. They will be out Wednesday. We have had Dish in this exact spot last year. I wonder if they CAN???
Thanks for letting me rant. I get so tried of companies that CAN'T what happened to we'll get it done.....? The people that are employed need to get unemployed including the top of pile, IE CEO, CFO, COO, then maybe they CAN. When I worked CAN'T got you fired.

Well... here it is!







all rebuilt and ready to go! now the daunting task of getting it in the truck.... i am much better at taking things apart. i am hoping i can do the install in 4 week, some of the upgrades will be power steering, C6 automatic, disc brakes are already done, AC will be down the road... maybe by next summer.
