Good Morning everyone. WELCOME Allen. Everyone stay cool. I'm glad I'm in Southern Nevada only 102 today. Going to get a performance muffler on the Blazer 4x4. Then the Dodge is next. need to take advantage of the muffler shop here. They have done work for me before & they are reasonable & good.

No partying for a while Big White is not fixed. The transmission is still leaking. Autozone says a gasket or something like that is bad. We are going to probably bring it to a shop instead of dealing with the hassle. We are going to buy a code reader tomorrow I think. I got a new hat today it says Ford Powerstroke diesel cool hat. Also got new wheels for the bronco 2 today 5 Jeep wheels the local tire shop said they would fit. Might get a tonna cover for Big white but I don't know if a 2003 F150 bed is the same as a 2002 F250. Also got a bunch of wood flooring for free today. Going to relax a while though.

Brother from another mother trucker
Howdy Arizona Gang!
Im from the New Mexico boarder town of Duncan. The Gila River runs right thru town but right now it is a sand box, perfect for blasting around until the monsoons hit(which might be tonite!) then the sucka floods.
I have 2 Ford trucks '82 f-150 w/300 L6 and a '65 F-100 w/300 L6. Out here we have mining roads unlimited and open highways both great to run as there are few folks on the roads in these parts.
Just brought my '65 home today to start the everfamous resto on it.
bought some used tires as all the ones on it were flat and cracked as it was sitting for almost 9 years. It belonged to an old cowboy who had passed on to the big corral in the sky. I found the owner and picked it up for $900. I made this offer because I had sold my first '65 back in the mid 80's for the same price, although it was in excellent condition at the time.
Figured it would be good luck since it was the lady's dad who died and my dad gave me my first truck to get running which was the '65 and he just passed away a year ago last week. I beleive in keeping a balance in life so things remain at a positive level and (knock on wood) bad crap doesnt happen.
The tailgate was for whatever reason buried under 8" of dirt and is trashed, weighs about 150 lbs due to dirt or rust inside. The handle and latches on both ends are rusted to no return. Is there a place that sells used or oem for a reasonable price? I cant see using the buried treasure.
Any way thanks for letting me join the AZ Crew, look forward to shooting the breeze and learning new tricks, even though I am an "Old Dog"
Hava good one

Great news guys I got the Blue thunder (bronco 2). My dad is going right now to go get the tires mounted on the new wheels at a friends house then the truck is road ready. Blue jay doesn't have a ladder rack anymore will have pics soon of both of the trucks. My dad promised me that tomorrow I will have my White Lightnin' 1988 F150 running if fuel is the problem plus he will get new tires for it. The only thing about the B2 is that there is now muffler or cat which don't matter up here no emissions over here and it isn't loud enough to be illegal. Tomorrow we are going to the Swap meet to so I can find so more parts.

Hellonwheels,
I have not been to Duncan in a very long time! my white 65 is from up the road.... Clifton Morenci area, i bought it from the original owners daughter. She did not want to part with it at first, it took 4 months before she called back and said i could buy it from her. she told me it was the only "new" vehicle her dad ever bought. he worked at the Copper mine. i paid to much for it, but it only had 83,000 miles on the OD.
also we used to fish the gila river below San Carlos lake
here is a pic!

Hell on wheels don't worry most of us our old fashioned ourselves even me even though I am 16. Welcome to the Forum. I have learned alot here.
Well we are going to be selling a working with everything on it Ford Bronco 2 standard transmission and transfer case soon out of an 84 soon. Need to clean it up. I think we are going to use the money to get Big White (2002 F250) going again. I need to ask gigger if he knows what might be wrong.
