Timing Question=Frustration

So I replaced the head gaskets on my 74 F250 and finally got the timeing back in order. Now the issue Im having is that I can start it but when I drop it in gear it starts to stall out. My vacuum lines are hooked up and Ive checked my spark plug wires. Im at my wits end here and can't figure it out.

any ideas?

It sounds like you've got it timed too slow.

Timed to slow? How's your idle speed? And what's your timing set at on which motor? Assuming you have a 360, or possible 6.
