Any suggestions...
I have a 99 ranger sc xlt 4-d stepside 4x4 auto w/od
3.0l 6cyls.It's been in the shop for repairs and paint job under my insurance.Took it back more than 3x's hoping they'll get the paint job right,it wasn't.It has orange peel,bubbles,and chipping of the paint.I'm thinking of getting it re-done the right way and the color is black in which i might change.I would like to improve it's performance without me getting a speeding ticket.The exhaust system looks pretty rusty,it's been in the shop to replacing so many sensors,and other things as well all at once at the dealer's.
Lucky there's a thing called warranty to cover all those problems.
I also like to do some interior and exterior work,runningboards,
tint,t-cover,new carpet color,new speakers,seat covers,anything
that i can put into my truck.I want it to look to where people can say "wow checkout that ranger".But i also want it to last forever
as to being the last car payment.
So, i'm opened for any ideas that will be smart choices,and to save me money and be happy in the long run.

Hey Leslie,
For starters I would install Flowmaters(50 Series) exhaust, you'll get that rumble sound that you want. Plus you get better gas mileage and you'll turn some heads. Then I would install a new deck and some speakers. I have heard and seen many brands of speakers and decks, if you are looking for great sound go with Alpine. Thats what I have and its great. If you want me to give ya some more ideas, just reply.

THis is only my opinion but if I had a truck that had as many problems as yours I would ditch it and get a different one. I can't see making all those mods to a truck that has so many problems. You probably will never be happy with it.
