Decoding 76 E-150 VIN

Greetings all,

I tried to decode a VIN for a 76 E150 and it's telling me the engine code is wrong. I'm guessing the decoder might not have all the info for this vehicle, so I'm looking for more help.

Anyone know of a good decoder?

The VIN is E11HHB70065

Any help would br appreciated.

Decoding 76 E-150 VIN

Double check the vin # All i can come up with is what you already know a 76 E150 5 Pass Club Wagon.

That was my first thought too, so I just checked it again. I got it off the title and I can't imagine they could have the wrong VIN on a title, could they?

It's possible! There is also more info on the vehicle id plate.

H is a 351 > M or W

Van is usually 351W.

Did they have a 351W in that year though.

That's a good question. If I can ever get the key, I can open the hood and check the valve covers. I'll report back if I find out.
