Most of us have aftermarket air filters and just zip tie the sensor to something close to the filter.

How does he know he is getting too much fuel?

Buzz test only test the electrical part of the injector. Have him do a CCT (cylinder contribution test).

Who did the labor on the injectors? Does the engine have a miss to it?

Wouldnt white smoke indicate oil in the chamber, not excess fuel?

Generally excess fuel presents as black smoke.

White smoke is usually unburnt raw fuel. It can be caused by a few problems. Were all the injectors replaced?

How can it be electrical if it passed the buzz test? I would bring it back to them and have them run more test. Were they rebuilt or new?
