Weight Lifting
roll your lazy butt out of bed every morning at 5 am and start workin out before school. it's the best time to lift once you adjust to it, you get it out of the way, and you feel engergized the rest of the day... its a great way to start off each morning and get going. and you'll be a massive tool in no time
Monday - Bis, Tris, Shoulders
Wed - Legs (quads, hams, calves)
Fri - Chest, back
It is my opinion that any more than this is too much. The majority of people are of average body type and have average genetics. Only those with superior genetics should attempt more days.
The reason I use this split is to give my arms more rest. By training them directly on Monday, they will be rested enough for indirect work on Friday. I always use compound movements with heavy weight. Always adding reps or weight weekly.
I usually change things up every 6 weeks as far as movements, but the order always stays the same. Of course, as the comp. draws closer, I'll start my cut and add more movements for definition. Good nutrition is a must. Without it, everything you do in the gym is a waste of time. You do not grow in the gym, so don't think more is better.
