what is the diffrence in slots when the term double step is used vrs deep dish? What are more common? What is the chance American racing will make 8 lug Ansen spirits?alot of ?
The old school slots would fall into the "double step" category, the term is pretty self-explanatory when you view the slots in the link below, it refers to the additional "step" built into the wheel where the spokes meet the bead.
Most modern slots are of the "deep dish" variety and do not have this feature.
Hey Montana are your slots 9.75 wide? Im looking to go 35 as well,Ive been all over trying to decide rims ,when I first saw your truck and rims I knew Man thats it!thankyou
I think it depends on the manufacturer as well. Define "new" wheels. Mine are at least 20 years old that I know of and they're deep dish. They don't have the extra lip in them. My smaller 14" slots for Chevelle do, though.
