Good evening everyone, I have a question that I can't find the answer for using the search option.
The two trucks involved are:
'68 F100 2 wheel drive manual steering 4 speed 300 I6.
'72 F100 4X4 power steering 4 speed 390 V8.
Can the steering setup from the '72 be directly swapped into the '68.
Will the pump be the correct one and is the steering box a direct bolt in? I know the tie rods, drag link etc. probably won't work but I'd like to know about the column, box and pump.
Thanks in advance for any replies.

Don't know if it will make that swap, but if you find out it doesn't, and you want to get rid of it, let me know. I have the same truck as your '72 and am looking. Heard once that pwr steer wasn't a factory option on '72 F-100 4WD
No idea if it was an option or not but this truck has it and it all looks like it's supposed to be there....I'm actually trying to find out for someone who wants to buy all the parts from me regardless so I wouldn't be able to sell them but thanks for the input and the offer.
