I have been noticing that my a/c has been losing its punch and today it completely lost it. I stopped and bought a guage and it says normal range it fluctuates from the green line to the top of the blue. Should be perfect range but I am getting no cool air inside. When I hook up a can of 134a and turn it on the guage goes all the way up to 160 in the red. turn the can valve off and the pressure goes back down to the normal range. The a/c just seemed to get warmer and warmer over the last week.
I would think that your system has started leaking. All those hoses are put together with "o" ring seals. They don't last forever. Do a leak check with a sniffer or a dye. Oh....and the 93's used R-12, unless it's been converted, if i'm not mistaken.
