in cab storage compartment

Does anyone know where I can get the storage compartment that goes where the stock gas tank goes? My friend said his dad ordered this in 1968,from the factory. THANKS.

Yeah, good luck finding an original one, but there are many aftermarket products available. I suggest a Whitney catalog or a Google search on the net.

I found one of these in a wreckers. I took it home with me and it is sitting in the shed. I believe it is in not to good of shape but I would have to look at it again. Where are you from ptodave.
