Trouble shooting the AC system today and put some R134 in only to find a leak in the high side hard line. Anyone have an AC diagram or part numbers for these lines? Its the one that comes out of the compressor and heads to the condenser.
I've never had a leak in that area. I'm not sure if a AC shop could repair it. Couldn't hurt to ask. E7TZ19712A seems to be the OEM part number. Double check that. $300.00 from Silver State.

Thanks Pete. It's just past the 90* turn, right where it starts to go in front of the rad behind a retaining ring/screw on the drivers side. My guess is it got corroded there and rub against that ring for years and there is a small whole in the line. Just found condensers from rockauto for $78, never heard of the mfg though. I'm wondering if I could splice in a new section of hard line there with some flare fittings, like a brake line fix.
I decided to cut the bad section out and see if I could fix this without buying a new condenser and this is what I came up with. Went to napa and got an AC compression fitting, part # 201092, to splice the line back together. I messed up and cut out a bit too much so I had to bend the line a bit, but if you're careful, there is room for movement. The new condenser was listed at $130 at napa and this fitting was $24 so I'm very pleased with the fix. Blows ice cold now.
Yes it is. I really wanted it fixed for next weekend. Taking a travel trailer down to Ky for memorial weekend and I didn't want a case of the Glenns with her complaining about the noise/heat.
