No problem, once you get updated and H&S's latest trans tune you will love it!

Ok, so I checked the version and it was the most current? I reloaded the download and now it shifts very firm ?? Weird! I did the 3 0-80 runs at 25, 50, and 100 % we will see how it works now.

That is weird. Maybe the firmware was updated but it was never downloaded to the truck? Some of the firmness will go away with a bit of time. Let us know how it goes.

Well it seems like the shifting is much improved ! I will hopefully get the egt sensor installed next week so I am good to go! I must say the 5" exhaust makes quite the sound compared to stock. We will see how it performs both at the 1/4 mile and in truck pulls over the summer. I will keep you posted with my results.

I downloaded a new speedometer app for my phone and it does 0-60 times. I let mine rip today and got a 0-60 mph time of 8.1 sec. It's a gps speedometer for the phone and it's a really nice one with an HUD option.

Anyway, I thought the time was pretty dang good. I'd like to know what you get Darren!

Better not spend too much time watching from the side lines. It won't be long and the EPA will ban these tuners with delete capabilities. I hope that never happens but reality is, it likely will.

Well I tried to get you a time on my way to work today but it is cold and the roads are wet. Laid down some pretty good 13" wide black stips but that's about it. Being able to do a boosted launch is going to be a HUGE advantage in the 0-60. When it is warm and dry I can do a boosted launch and the duratracs are super soft and hook up like slicks.

I ran an 8.1 and an 8.3 with LOTS of wheel spin and much less than WFO for at least the first 60% of the run. So you could be in trouble.

When it quits raining and warms up I will get you some numbers.

What is HUD option?

Do you know how accurate that app is? I thought the stock trucks with 3.55's ran around 8.8. I am not questioning your 8.1 but just wondering because I get my numbers from H&S black maxx app on the tuner and I don't know how accurate it is either.

Thanks

Accurate? I have no idea. Advertised as being accurate, I wouldn't take it too seriously and I will play with it some more. No worries.

HUD is heads up display, basically makes the screen display backwards like a mirror image so when it reflects on your windshield at night you can read the display. Just lay the phone on the dash and let it shine on the window. Kind of cool but I don't see myself laying the phone on the dash. Nothing stays there.

Don't burn up your tires on my account! I am just curious what a typical time is for you.

HUD sounds pretty cool. Never heard of that before!

I was just curious if they published an "accurate to +/- 2%" or something like that. Just trying to get and idea of how accurate the H&S system is, that's all.

Burnin' up the tires if fun. I have not played around like this in a long time so I appreciate you asking me for numbers. Gives me a valid excuse to have some FUN!

Have a good one!

I haven't, but I've been meaning to. I'll try to get this done soon and report back.
