I was wondering if there was ever a factory RHD OBS? I think the answer is no.

You are right...
I have a friend that is likely moving down under and if the RHD parts can be ordered he can import his truck and save a lot of money.
The other thought is find one that was originally shipped to the UK.
The conversion costs are in the $10k-$20k range from the estimates he got...
