I'm looking to remove 2 leaves out of each side of the rear suspension as it's riding a bit harsh, 3/4 ton load capability will never be used, & I would like it to sit a little lower, there are 2 circles of metal that hold the leaves together, how do these come off? is it just a case of a gentle tap with a hammer? I know there is a pin that goes through the middle of the leaves how far does the axle have to be lowered to get the pin out? does the damper have to be removed to make it easier? any help would be great thanks guys..
oh 1 quick 1, how much does a good condition '72 tailgate go for from a PYO? would love to be able to replace the dodge one that came with the truck as it was originally a camper, not the sort of thing I can find over here in England
