You guys know of any really good parts yards? I know Ecology, etc, but was hoping someone had the inside skinny on bone yards in San Diego county. My truck is really straight, but I need some parts that they previous guys deleted. Window washer motor, etc. Also looking for a 5-bolt pattern 15" rim to use as a spare as I don't have one. Looking for a victim truck I can cut the spare wheel carrier out of to mod for my truck. Any help would be awesome.
A few thoughts... one, I have a spare 5x5.5" 15-inch rim that's in ratty condition if you want it. Two, there are a couple of Ecology yards down there... Chula Vista and Oceanside.

Any 5 lug 5.50" bolt circle wheel from a 1961/83 F100, 1966/96 Bronco, 1975/96 F150, 1975/2012 E150 will fit your 1968 F100 as long as you haven't converted it to disc brakes.
If converted to discs, you'll need a wheel from a 1973/83 F100, 1976/96 Bronco. The other apps are the same.
The spare tire carrier used from 1973 will not work on 1972 or earlier trucks. Ford increased the rear frame rail width behind the cab in 1973 to 37 1/2 inches. 1972 and earlier is 33 1/2 inches.
So, the length of the T bar that retains the tire is longer after 1972.
The windshield washer motor is C8SZ-17664-A = 1968/70: F100/350 & Thunderbird/Lincoln Mark III; 1969/70 Econoline only!
This motor fits into the 1968/70 F100/350 only reservoir using a rubber grommet, filter screen and washer. The chances of finding one a these motors and related parts used is about nil.
This motor has been repro'd: C&G Ford parts in Escondido, Blue Oval Truck Parts in Anaheim, The Truck & Car Shop in Orange may have the motor, but I doubt they'll have the related parts, as they are not repro'd.
These parts can be found NOS, let me know if interested.
I really appreciate the time and effort you've put into all your replies. The info helps me a great deal. Sorry I haven't posted in a while, the honey-do must be balanced against the F100 repairs. BTW, I call my wife 'honey' and my truck 'Sweety.' Neither seems to mind, as long as Honey remains my best girl. Have a safe and peaceful weekend.
