I am still searching for the right truck and need some professional advice.

I found this one on craigslist and was wondering if anyone could shed some light on these modifications?

I like the truck itself. I have narrowed my search down to the 99-02 models with the 7.3L diesel. This one is within my price range and has really low mileage on it. My only concern is all of the mods on it. I am new to trucks and rather ignorant on serious mods - like lengthening a driveshaft. My concern is will these mods cause extra stress on components or not hold up as well? These trucks were engineered a certain way and I am not sure what happens when you start messing with that engineering.

Any help would be really appreciated.

Hi there, thats a very clean looking truck, im from new england and its rare to see a truck of that year so clean. As far as the modifications that it has done, they deffinatley will cause added stress and wear to the truck, but thats the price of having a modified truck. However if they modifications were properly done and regular maintenance is followed I would not think twice about owning one. I have had lifted trucks in the past and loved all of them. One plus for the truck your looking at is it has the 7.3 with very low milage.
