a few questions
Hi I have a few questions about paints and rust prevention. A few years ago I replaced the front floor bords,cab mounts,inner floor steps and rockers,and the rest of floor looked to be in good shape. I then painted with some magic paint that you can paint rite over rust. I used this truck as a dailey driver so it was in the rain and snow. Now it is looking bad again and looking like I will need to do it all over again. Most of the rust started in the seems were you can not get the paint into. I saw this weld through paint and was thinking can I paint the panels before welding them in would this work? Or is their any thing else I could use? When finshed I was thinking of having floor coated with bed liner on the bottom has anyone done this before? Did it work? I don't want to do this again. Thanks for any wisdom help or comets.
