Congratulations!

I just brought home my new F150 about 2 weeks ago. I wanted white, too, but my wife said no, it won't be visible in winter driving. I told her it comes with lights.... that had no effect.

So then I said I'll get the dark grey color. And she said no, it's too close to color of the road and I'll get run over by a trucker.

My wife said, get black! That's sweet! I said I'm too lazy to take care of black and that's why I want white.

I was hoping she'd heard my comment about the white but she was already pointing at the bright red. I said no, I've had enough red vehicles to last me a lifetime and I'm not towing my red Firebird with a red truck. It's like when little old ladies wear a solid color sweat suit top and bottom.

We both looked at the green. Paused. And both said no.

Then I drove down the row and saw the Golden Bronze. My wife said it was poop brown. We had a short argument about the color and finally I agreed she was right. It's poop brown.

Saw the bright blue and decided I'm too manly for that.

And then.... TADA!!!!.... I saw the dark blue. Really nice color against the chrome. So I traded in my dark blue F250. Ya, that's right, I got the same color again. Not sure the neighbors even notice I have a different truck. (It does look really good though )

Because I'm not a dumb nut. I just spent a large amount of money, some of which she earned, to buy something for myself. If all it takes to make her feel valued and included in a major money decision is to ask her what color she likes, then I'm 110% on board with that.

WOW! My wife was fully involved and on board with my truck buying process. She is after all my chosen partner, whom I respect.

Anyway guys, let your wives help you put a little. I never said she had to drive it all the time.
