Recently bought a 2010 F150 Platinum - my first truck.
Just put tool box and grille guard on.
Next I want to do a leveling kit. But I am skeptical with my local shops.
Ford Dealership offered the job for $799
Other local guys were at; $650, $450, and $375.
The wide gap in price is throwing me off. What should I be expecting as far as price?
Also a couple of them mentioned lifting the back a little as well, while the others said they'd never heard of that.
Can't give any help on the price as I did my own, but to lift the rear a little? What would be the point in the leveling kit? These things already sit high in the *** end, just make sure you get right the leveling kit, I put a 2.5" kit on my truck. If I were you I would stay away from the dealership, that price is way to high and typical of a STEALERSHIP, and stay away from the ones telling you to lift the rear, they're just trying to get more money out of you
