My touch screen on my 2011 F350 is cracked and dealership will not repair or replace it under warranty. They say it will be 1-2K. Cannot find anywhere to repair it. Everything still works fine but am unable to use touch. Any help would be useful please.

 

I would hit up eBay, either for a complete nav unit or one that you can pull the screen off of to replace yours with.

I searched around for some ford navigation screen replacement options but didn't find much other than eBay for parts.

 

Not cool, that's not going to be an easy thing to fix.

I would suggest contacting your insurance company and filing a comprehensive claim. In most states insurance will cover it and you'd just be responsible for your deductible. It's a pricey unit and you want it fixed right.

 

Did you punch it? I don't understand why it's not covered under bumper to bumper??

They are really shiesty. Don't know if I'll ever buy a new one again. Hard to have faith in a company that won't back it's products
