I recently replaced my intake on my 400 and i broke this fitting that was attached to a vacuum hose with plastic lining on the inside of the hose. It ran to the carb and is apart of the vacuum advance.
Any ideas on what this is called and where I can find one? I haven't been able to find one in a pick n pull yet.
don't know the name but if its just a tube - nothing inside fitting - I have replaces with a reduced brass nip that fits the thread sice then hooked up new small rubber hose to carb and brass fitting done --
The only fitting that would show up on an intake for a 400 is a vacuum fitting, since it's a dry intake. It wouldn't go to the carb AND the vacuum advance. At any rate, you should be able to get a barbed NPT fitting through most hardware suppliers.
