Should I buy?
A 1979 ford f150 2wd the guy says it has a 429 police interceptor with 60,000 a 4 barrel Holley pumped carb. Body doesn't look bad has newer tires. The turn signals don't work and neither does the fuel gauge. He wants $1200. Could I buy this and resell for a nice profit?

you'd have to look at other decent trucks like this one in your market and see what they sell for when everthing works.
and you're probably going to have to fix it up to get the higher retail.
depends a lot on your market. around here, with stuff not working, 500-800 tops, if it is really nice otherwise. no one here wants a 2wd truck. they will only pay about half as much for a 2wd, cause you can only drive them half-the year.
no free lunch.
do the work and you can probably turn a profit, IF you buy it right.
if you get it, post up some pics!
