Tail Lights
Gents,

I dumbly backed into another vehicle in my 06 F250. In the process I shattered the taillight plastic. Is there a replacement glass, or do I have to replace the entire light fixture?

You must replace the entire fixture, no fear, they are $20 on amazon. Great time to upgrade to the 08+ lights for an updated look and increased light output.

No for the 99-07 style. The 08+ ones were more like $25

Sounds awesome! I watched the video link, how hard was that cutting part to get the socket to fit? I did not really understand that.

Its easy, you'll see what you have to do when you get the parts together. I just used a box cutter, the plastic is pliable and easy to cut.

Just squeeze the socket on the light, it will indent where you need to cut.

So, the old style socket works for the bottom brake light. So you you would need to buy two new sockets and the two new 08 brake lights only? Or four new sockets?

You only need the light enclosures, 2 reverse light sockets, and 2 reverse light bulbs.
