Cruise Control Light?
Still getting a feel for the 95 F150 XLT. I have cruise on the steering wheel and did not know if it was working. I tried it out today and it does engage but there is no indication by way of a dash light that the system is in operation. Is this normal?

My 94 F250 has no light for cruise, it just works. I have had several Fords and a Chebby and Pontiac and only one ever had a cruise light and that was because the Mercury Villager is a joint product of Nissan and Ford. Nissan has cruise lights on the instruments so I would guess the Villager cruise control is Japanese.
Unless your manual says you DO have a light, don't worry about it.

'80-96 F-Series & Broncos never had a cruise light. The '93-up cruise servo DOES have outputs for dash lights, but I haven't tracked down the pinout or logic yet to know how to wire them up. I'll probably put a couple of pics in my sig link photo albums when I do.
