I dont think my glow plugs are working properly...I just put new ones in and when they are on the gauge is clicking back and forth...I have seen post on i need a new glow plug relay...Can anybody tell me where the relay is and where is a good place to get one...thanks!

 

First off, what year of a truck do you have? How long does the wait to start light burn for? Also what brand of glows did you use? The first two threads at the top of the page will tell you every thing you need.
The 83-86 trucks are the old style, 87 and later or the new style.

 

Its a 94 idi I used factory glow plugs from ford

 

The relay for the 94 non turboed is located on the controler, which is behind the air intake, center on the rear of the engine. Factory turboed models the controler was located on the passenger side valve cover. GPR 109 is the relay needed.
