302/AOD Mounts
I am just about ready to order Engine /Trans mounts for my 48 F1. I like the cross member style mounts because I would think that they stiffin up the frame a bit. It seems like everybody sells them, are they all made by the same manufacture or are some better than others? The transmission cross member are also available with different amount of mount heights. What height will get me close to the right pinion angle? I am using a 9" rear end at stock spring height and an AOD transmission. Can the engine and transmission be centered or do they have to be offset for power steering (Toyota) and Patriot block hugger header clearence?
