Firestone is well establish name. I do like to give competition a fair chance to gain the market, but unless you will find the place where you can see couple different brands side by side, you don't want to experiment with unknown. Air lift is the sponsor here, so maybe you can get a better deal? Warranty would be critical in making my choice.
An air lift person comments often and should help. There is a lot of air bag talk in the 6.7 forum, go there and search and read. I think you will find your answers.
I have used Firestone for over 6 years and 5 trucks. They have never failed me but air lift is working for their business, may want to check them out.
We do offer a kit for the 2012 trucks. You didn't mention it in this post or any of your others but is your truck 2wd or 4wd?
The kit for 4wd is 57396, and the kit for 2wd is 57395. Both kits will fit the 2012 trucks. These kits are also designed to be used with a 5th wheel hitch, but they can be installed the same if you don't have one.
Our bags are made in house in Lansing, MI. Our company is family owned and operated completely in the USA. We offer a lifetime warranty on our bags and a 60 day money back, no questions asked guarantee on our airbag kits.
All kits come with the necessary parts and pieces to manually fill the airbags with air via shrader valves and an external compressor. If you are interested in adjusting on the fly or simply want the ease of simply pushing a button we offer a wide range of controller systems as well.
Currently we are also offering up to $100 mail in rebate ($50 on bag kits and/or $50 on controllers). This rebate applies to a purchase from any of our retailers.
With either company you decide to go with, let me know if you have any questions and I will do whatever I can to help answer them.
I have been getting the "run around" big time from Air Lift. I have a practically new (bought in October) Air Lift kit that fits a Chevy 2500. There is nothing wrong with my airbags. What I want is the brackets to make this kit fit my 2012 F250.
I just want to adapt a #57275 to a #57396
Seems simple enough to me. I have traded emails and phone calls with Air Lift to no avail. The Air Lift representative says to "contact my local Air Lift dealer". The dealer says "I have never heard of such of a thing". He contacts his supplier who has not either.

thats cause they don't sell the bracket kit separately..

Sorry you have been having issues. Your major problem is that the two kits have entirely different bags. The kit for the Chevy uses a single bellow, almost sleeve bag. The 57396 kit uses a a double convoluted bag. So short of the airlines and some fittings there is nothing the same between the two kits. When the kits do use the same bags I always suggest people contact Michigan Truck Spring at 1-800-358-4751.
You can try calling them but I don't know how much they could do for you as previously mentioned, I did send you a pm as well. Again, my apologies for the troubles you have had.
Why did you assume that I bought the wrong kit. Maybe it fit the truck that I had at the time.
I got a very nice message from Mike explaining the situation. I was also able to supply him with the email that I had gotten from Air Lift indicating that a adapter kit was available. Had I been given the correct information from Air Lift, then I never would have removed the #57275 kit from the Chevy.
Mike knows his stuff and I appreciate his interest. I have no beef with Air Lift, nor did I have any complaint with their product.
Now I will have to be in the market for a #57396 Air Lift kit for my F250.
I have never had the Firestone bags but I am in the middle of installing my 3rd set of Air Lift bags on my current truck right now. First two sets were on Chevy's and now this set is on my E99 F350. I have never had any issues with the first two applications and so far the E99 setup is installing just fine. (one side done)
I know this doesn't directly answer your question but Air Lift already did that. I just want to let you know that Air Lift is a good product and I have been happy with mine.
Oh, I am and have been satisfied with Airlift, and I just hung up the phone ordering the kit for the F250. It will ship out tomorrow.
I do have experience with Ride Rite. During the past 22 years, I have owned two different vehicles with them. I have also had one Ride Rite bag failure.
