ok I think I got it...

VSS = Vehicle Speed Sensor, which is back there somewhere, and I should just leave it alone... my ex-husband used to tell me that all the time, I'm used to it

E40D is a type of transmission, but I have no idea if it's what I have, or if it matters.
its a 5 sp manual if anybody is taking notes...
