Can anybody tell me the size of this motor by a picture? I am currently deployed and am having a friend look at the truck on behalf of myself. The owner thinks it is a 351. i tried adding just the picture, but it won't let me. I'm not too computer savvy, I just realized I posted this 3 different times haha. Thank you
If it is an authentic 67 and original it would be a 352. It is a nice looking truck but could have never survived Anchorage this long unless it spent winters in a sealed heated garage.
I took a rust free 72 up there in the 80s and it lasted about 6-7 years before it was a rust heap. I took good care of it too, washed it all the time.
To see those old highboys with non original paint and full ranger trim is always a bit of a red flag that it is a put together truck, not many people ordered 4x4s with all the chrome and carpet.

It's an FE engine, as one can tell by the pent roofed shaped valve covers. 1967's originally came with a 352 2V, but who knows what FE engine is in there now, as all look basically the same.
FE engines have 5 valve cover bolts per side / 221/260/289/302/351W's have 6 / 429/460's have 7 / 351C/351M/400's have 8.
Are your really interested in buying this truck? I could inspect at it for you, see if it passes muster, as I'll be in Anchorage 5/18-5/22.
Yes that is a sweet looking truck. BUT that is an el-cheapo seat cover. Had one once and it would slip and slide and bunch up and only lasted a sort time. And the Door panels also look like JC Whitney cheapo's. That's not to say they are bad. As how can you mess up a door panel?. The point here is what else is home made cheap garbage on this truck. For 9K one can buy a lot of cheap parts and bolt them on. If you have the time than take ND up on his offer to look it over. Or contact someone else on here that is in Anchorage. I will also be in Anchorage this month. Prolly about the same time as ND Bill.
adamustang1969 are you in Anchorage? Have you seen the truck? Would you join the Alaska chapter on here? We need all the members we can get Bud.
