Does Bilstein make a shock for 75 hb 4inch lift, had them on my old deisel ranger, and was very pleased.I cant seam to find any info for older vehicles pertaining to them,if so any heads up where to buy. Thanks
Bilstein shocks are awesome. I have'em in my 01 S'crew and 71 Pontiac. My 70 Bumpside is gonna get a set too. Btw, go for the HD series or the 5100s as they are more compliant than the Sport series... them will loosen your fillings and beat yer kidneys to a pulp.
Yeah, they tends not to have anything listed for 79 and earlier trucks. Ya might have to measure full droop, full compression, and match the corresponding specs a set of their shocks with the correct mounting style (eye or loop vs bayonet). Aim for either 60/40 or 40/60 (compression vs rebound) depending on your planned usage.
Once you figure out the PNs, I suggest ordering the shocks from shockwarehouse.com... reasonable prices and fast shipping.
