I rebuilt the from drums, and replaced the master cylinder, but i am still having to pump the brakes to come to a stop. I bench bled the master until no air came out of the ports, and I have bled each wheel at least a dozen times. Still not good pressure. Any ideas? I havnt seen any fluid leak out of any drum and I rebuilt the fronts at least 2 months ago.
I have the parts to rebuild the rear, but after gettin my wheels and spacer un bolted last night, I realized the floating axles have to be removed, therefore new seals needed. Either way, I havnt noticed the rear drums leaking anything.
Are the rear drums adjusted, the shoes should just barely drag on the drums, if not adjusted properly the shoes can take up a ton of pedal travel before they engage the drums.
Ah, the pumping gets it hard pressure at the top of the pedal, and then the difference in muscle I have to give it to brake is incredible haha. Almost like I have power disk brakes after 3 or 4 pumps
