On top of the upper intake you'll clearly see 5.0 or 5.8. If the motor doesn't have an upper intake(just a 90deg elbow where a carb would go) that's a 7.5l(460).

trucks didn't get MAF until 1995 and even then it was mostly 1/2 tons, most HD trucks never got it.
If it's got a 5.8 (and it should in an F250) you don't need MAF to do what you want it to do. An upgrade to a roller 5.8 would do wonders, but hardly a requirement.
I just did a roller 5.8 in a 95 F150. I added shorty headers and a set of 1.7 Cobra roller rockers, plus removed the Thermactor bumps from the exhaust ports. Can't give you any definate results, but these are simple things you can do to improve the breathing. Ford found a 15 hp increase in the Cobra rockers in the 93 GT40 5.0. A K&N filter in the air box is another, plus removing the factory silencer from the aircleaner inlet if it's still there.
If it's the 5.0 the best way to get more torque is swap in a 5.8.
If you have a 5.8 then just add longtube headers(pacesetter) and a single 2.5" mendrel bent exhaust system and either upgrade the cam or add 1.7 roller rockers.
