Green engine

I've been meaning to ask this question about the paint colors on the 7.3, when I purchased my 97 I noticed it is a Olive green color; is this the standard color for these years? I know my son's 2000 is painted black.

Thanks,
Ross

Thanks, well this one came green; it's a one owner truck with 43,000 original miles and not a repaint.

I had to be a repaint job. What are they going to do, pull a block off the assembly line and paint it green? LOL

Stranger things have happened! Ford used to be notorious for making every car different. Like my mustang. A buddy has an identical 67 with a build date the month before mine. And when we tore them down, side by side, the most random things were different.

I don't guess I've seen those. Are you talking about the regular license plate for the state or the ones that just say "Friends of Coal"?
