Kind of OT: Helped a friend out with front end F150 work

I helped my friend out today with his 99 f150. Replaced the brakes, rotors, hub assembly on the front end. All went well and went for a test drive. I asked him about the door ajar light and dome light being on. Bet him $5 that I could fix it with some WD-40 on the latches. He agreed....I won......Good day to help a friend and make some extra cash over the few brews he brought over......

It was a good day to work on a truck! I dorked around finishing the install of my new hpop lines, bit of an oily mess when ya don't seat the hose properly.

But you guys took on some wrenching, so kudos Grant! Especially making wise use of the FTE Force with the WD40 trick. My favorite tool today was Miller High Life, what was yours?

Miller lite/bud light. Probably should not be having any since I'm recovering from a hernia surgery. It's been over a week and getting better.

I mainly supervised in the the chair. Told him he was fired at one point.

Those F150's are notorious for having light issues due to door latches being stuck. I picked up a 98 for my son and someone had taken the dome light bulbs out. When we got new ones we found out why. A little shot of WD-40 and all is well.
