Is this something new from MSD? I'm going to have to go take a look at it.
I'd rather stick with a carburetor myself, but I will admit I've toyed around with the idea of one of the aftermarket TBI systems like what Holley makes. It would definitely make a 300-6 talk.
In theory you should be able to get more power, more efficiency (mpg) and less pollution, not to mention a quick start at key turn. Just like the late model engines. Not as good as sequential port injection, but better than a carb can do for you on the street. I will need to look into how tuneable this setup is though.
Added: The ad says it is self tuning, so that means after install the ECU will adjust the software to match what is needed based on the readings it gets from the sensors.
My feeling has always been that if I am adding the potential problems with EFI, I want true EFI not TBI. Most factory EFI systems are "self tuning" in as much as they learn from your driving and the vehicle sensors.

I have thought for a long time that a factory EFI intake and injector setup with a stand alone controller would be a great setup.
FAST (Fuel Air Spark Technologies) was the first one to offer a "carburetor replacement" four barrel TBI setup. personally, I think they would be the go-to company for this system. Holly offers a very similar system as well, and I would be happy to put either one on in place of a carb on a vehicle of mine. The systems are completely stand-alone, and reviews have shown increased throttle response, fuel mileage, and horsepower. The FAST system is also readily adaptable for duce-quads, with only a change of the wiring harness, and the addition of the second throttle body. The computer is already programed for it.
