Lowering Options

Option 1. DJM drop beams and a shackle kit through Summit Racing

Option 2. Drop beams and an axle flip through Airbagit.com

Alternatives for the above:
1. Rear spring hanger flip and remove a leaf or two - ultra cheap but be wary if at all towing or with a load. C-notch recommended.

2. Rear axle flip through Fatman Fabrication. C-notch required. Bolt-on or weld-on.

Various Mustang II-style IFS on the market like Heidt's, Fatman Fab, Rod & Custom Motorsports, Paul Horton's Builder Series, etc.

Option 3. Crown Vic IFS and an MN-12 (90s T-bird/Cougar) IRS retrofit.

To improve handling, I recommend poly bushings, an OEM front sway bar (1.125-inch) and a 0.75-inch rear sway bar from AddCo. An OEM front sway bar does not require drilling the I-beams but ya gotta get the C-brackets that mount over the radius arms. The easiest donor to source them from are Econolines. Here's a pic of 'em:
