The cloud
The cloud
Hi,
As some of you know, Google has introduced some new cloud storage. I'll pass.
Besides the normal danger of hackers etc. We have the latest report on Street View

Bad Google, no biscuit

I'm always shocked and appalled by those so willing to give up every last bit if their once-private information just to "enjoy" every latest, newest innovation that comes along relating to the internet. Its hilarious to me sheeple are so gullible and somewhat lazy they'll fall for a sucker's lure like so much of what's available these days.
Its odd these same people are equally shocked and appalled when their bank accounts are compromised or raided or personal identities are stolen. We're raising a country of fools who add two plus two and come up with twenty-two! (2 + 2 = 22 correct?)
Anything I own, create or buy I want in MY hands, not some cloud!

I'm not a fan of the "cloud computing" concept - not at all.
I find it disturbing that so many software companies (Microsoft, for example) are pushing "cloud computing" as being the greatest thing since the Bible...
More and more applications, and even operating systems (Windows 8, anyone?) are written specifically to run in a "cloud" environment. Yes, even servers - If I was a server admin, I'd be damned if I were to allow that machine anywhere near a "cloud" environment...
